Please share a memory of Gene to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Gene F. Cardaci, 49, of Villas died on July 15, 2009 at his home. Born in Cape May Court House, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident. He was a member of the Villas Fishing Club, Elks Lodge of Villas, Crab Walkers Hunt Club, Pocono Ridge Riders Motorcycle Club and Happy Hookers Freshwater Fishing Club. Gene lived his life with fullness - fishing, hunting, motorcycling, quadriding and playing with his grandchildren. He loved spending time at his "second home" in the Poconos a/k/a 70/30 A site. Because of his compassionate and giving nature, many have lost their "best friend". Surviving are his wife, Kathy; children Daniel (Bridget), Genie, Jennifer and Anthony, all of Villas; his mother, Phyllis of Erma; brothers Gary of Erma and Gregg of N. Cape May; sisters, Marie of N. Cape May, Gail and Gina of Erma; grandchildren Kyle, Daniel, Anthony, Nathan, Destiny, Samantha and Alexandria and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Cardaci and a sister, Gia Curnell. Funeral services will be held on Monday, 11:00 AM at the Seashore Community Church of the Nazarene, 446 Seashore Rd., Erma, NJ, where friends may call from 9:30 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to Seashore Community Church of the Nazarene. Evoy Funeral Home
