OBITUARY Robert E. Kurzweil, 73, of Erma, NJ died on Saturday at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Linden, NJ, he resided in Carteret before moving to Erma five years ago. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired as general manager for Paul's Trucking Co. of Avenel, NJ. Surviving are his wife, Nancy G.; children Margaret Schmucker, Edwin (Ellie) Kurzweil, James Scott Kurzweil, Paula (Stephen) Swartz, Maxine (Patrick) Zawartkay, Bridgette DeWysockie and Sandra L. Reilly; grandchildren Laura and Samuel Schmucker, Heather Geisler, Courtney and Kjirsten Kurzweil, Emily Swartz, Adam, Brandy and Trista Zawartkay, Lauren and Jeremy Reilly; six great-grandchildren and a brother, William (Peg) Kurzweil. He was predeceased by Laura Canazaro and Brittany DeWysockie. Relatives and friends are invited to viewing on Wednesday from 6 - 9 PM and on Thursday from 11 am -2 PM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, NJ.
