Obituary of Robert A, Cramer

Robert A, Cramer, 86 of Villas, passed away Friday, May 22, 2009 at the North Cape Center, North Cape May. He was born in Oslo,Norway, formerly of Long Island, New York and a Cape May area resident the past 27 years. Bob was a decorated WW II, Army veteran having received two Purple Hearts and The Silver Star for wounds he received in action in the Pacific Theater. He was a retired Brick Layer, and worked through Brick Layers and Masons Union Local #30, Long Island, NY for over 50 years. He was a life member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart and the VFW Charles Buddy Lewis Post # 5343, Villas. He was also a life member of the Villas fishing Club. Bob had a good sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lois Cramer; six children, Mary Mickaela Fowler of Townsend, MA, Jane Marie Tibbetts of North Attleboro, MA, Charles C. Webster of Garden City, NY, Ronald E. Webster and Robert A. Webster both of Brooklyn, NY, and Steven H. Webster of Hong Kong, China; a sister Gloria VanDewater of Texas and numerous grand children and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2009, 11:00 am at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May. Viewing after 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House. Contributions in his memormy may be made to the American Cancer Society, 626 North Shore Rd., Absecon, NJ 08201
