Elizabeth A. "Betty" Darcy, age 88, of North Cape May died on April 15, 2009 in Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Phila., Pa., she was a resident here since 1960. She was the supervisor of nursing at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital for 15 years. She was a member of St. John of God Church. Surviving are a son, Donald J. Darcy of N. Cape May; son in law, Charles Collins four grandchildren, Donald J., Jr. (Melissa), Darren J., J. Michelle (Al) Flitcroft and Darcy J. (Cathy) Collins; six great-grandchildren, Tara and Breena Darcy, Stephen (Celiese), Brian and Douglas Flitcroft and Brandan Collins and one great-great granddaughter, Emma Flitcroft. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene W. Darcy in 1976 and a daughter, Jeanne Collins in 2004. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 11:00 AM at St. John of God Church, Townbank Road, N. Cape May, NJ. There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, NJ. Burial will be private.
