Edward S. Hand, age 76, of Cape May, NJ died on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in North Wildwood, he was a lifelong resident here. Mr. Hand served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Tabernacle U. M. Church of Erma. He was a former business agent for Local #210 I.B.E.W. and retired from the Atlantic City Electric Company.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy; two children, Diana L. Melhorn (Terry) of York, PA and N. Scott (Donna) of Cape May; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, Barbara, Debbie, Tiffany, Kevin and Christopher; and a sister, Corylin Armour. He was predeceased by his brother, Norman. A graveside service will be held on Friday, 1:00 PM at Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be sent to: Tabernacle U. M. Church, 702 Seashore Rd., Erma, NJ 08204.
