Edward C. Pyle Sr.., 78 of Villas, formerly of South Phila. died on Friday April 3, 2009 at the Cape Regional Med. Center, Cape May Court House.
Ed served during Korean War in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Leyte CV-32.
He was a retired bus driver with SEPTA in Phila, Pa. In his earlier years he was active in the Phila. Mummers Parade. He was a very avid fisherman.
Ed is survived by his wife Marion; 7 children, 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; one brother, two sisters. He was predeceased by 1 brother and 1 sister.
A memorial luncheon will be held Monday, April 6, 2009, 1:00 pm at Villas Fishing Club, 301 Pennsylvania Avenue, Villas. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to: American Lung Association, 1600 Route 22 East, Union, NJ 07083 EVOY FUNERAL HOME
