Michael G. DeMusz of Cold Spring was born October 2, 1944 and was called home to be with our Lord, March 15, 2009. A graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High School he went on to serve in the U. S. Army as a Military Police stationed in Korea 1965-1967. He was employed by Northwest Magnesite for 15 years and, after closing, went into the clamming industry followed by the building industry. He was predeceased by his father, John DeMusz, brothers Donald and William and sisters Margaret and Shirley. Surviving are his wife, Laura E., children Emil (Kara) Michael and Wenona (Bill) Taylor; his mother, Margaret DeMusz; brothers John (Amy), James (Patricia), Milton (Sandi), Brian (Nancy) and Carl (Cathy); sisters Barbara (David) Blews, Patricia Stevenson, Sharon (Bruce) Hutcheson, Janet Whipple and Lorie DeMusz; many nieces and nephews; grandchildren Jason and Natalie Taylor and Natalia DeMusz. A memorial service will be held on Monday, 3:00 PM at Tabernacle U. M. Church, 702 Seashore Rd., Erma, NJ, where friends may call from 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are requested to: St. Jude's Children, Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105 or the Cooper Foundation for cancer research, 1 Cooper Plaza, Camden, NJ 08103 Evoy Funeral Home.
