Norma Jean Patterson, age 73, of North Cape May was called home to her savior on Monday, March 9. Born in Dawson Springs, KY, she formerly lived in Darby, Pa. before moving here in 1977. She was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church of Erma. She was married for 48 years to the late Corporal Thomas Patterson of the Darby Borough Police Department, who died in 2001. Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Jean Patterson and husband Michael of Villas; a granddaughter, Jennifer Jean Cox (Stephen J.) of Villas and two great-granddaughters, Brookelynn and Josslynn. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 11:00 AM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, NJ, where friends may call from 10;00 AM. Burial will be in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be sent to: American Cancer Assoc., 626 N. Shore Rd., Absecon, NJ 08201.
