Bernard J. Mark, age 81, of Rio Grande died on Saturday at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Phila., Pa., he resided in the S. W. section of Phila. before moving to this area 25 years ago. He served in the U. S. Army during WW II. Mr. Mark was a retired steelworker for Mannion Steel of Phila. He was a member of Charles Buddy Lewis V.F.W. Post #5343 of Villas and the Villas Fishing Club. Surviving are his loving wife of almost 60 years, Bertha; five children, Bernard, Jr. and wife Marilynn, Robert and wife Kathy, Ronald, Dianne Jenkins and husband Gregory and Sharon DiPaolo; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 12:00 noon at St. Raymond's Church, Bayshore & Ocean Ave., Villas, NJ, where friends may call from 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery.
