John H. Wood, 85 of N. Cape May died Thursday, March 5, 2008 at the Cape Regional Med. Center, Cape May.He was born in Philadelphia, PA and was an area resident since 1985 having previously resided in East Falls section of Philadelphia. John served during World War II in the US Navy.He was a self employed Glass Mechanic, and retired after 33 years..John is survived by a son James J. Wood (Madeleine) who he loved to work and travel with.; a brother James R. Wood and a grandson James F. Wood.A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May. Friends may call after 10:30. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Blind Center of the Jersey Cape, PO Box 624, 168 Crest Haven Rd., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210
