Katherine M. Pfister, 93 of Cape May Court House, formerly of Wildwood Crest died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the Crest Haven Nursing Home.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and came to Cape May Co. in 1974 and resided in Wildwood Crest before moving to Cape May Court House in 2002.
She was a retired Nurses Aid and had been employed by Burdette-Tomlin Hospital, Cape May Court House. She had also volunteered at the Wildwood Crest Information Center and had been a member of the Moose Lodge in Wildwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Pfister (1959)
Katherine is survived by a daughter Linda (Robert) Gilson of Warrington, PA and a son Harry (Lynda) Pfister of Inman, SC; a grandson Scott (Terry) Pfister and a great-granddaughter Neeva Lyn Pfister. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 30, 2009, 11:00 am at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May. Friends may call Friday from 10-11am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly, NJ.
