Daniel R. Manning, 89 of, Wildwood Crest, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the Cape Regional Med. Center, Cape May Court HouseDaniel was born in Marlborough, MA, and he served in the US Army as a captain during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Bronze star in 1951.He was a retired supervisor for Social Security in Columbia MDSurvived by his wife of 53 years Elinor( nee Lynch) Manning; a daughter Laurie (John) Thomson of Cape May Court House,; grandson James R. Snyder and preceded in death by a grandson Harold J. Snyder Jr.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at Church Of The Assumption, 7110 Seaview Avenue , Wildwood Crest.
