Louis, "Buddy" Gallignano,77 of N. Cape May, NJ, died Wednesday, January 14, 2009 in the North Cape Center, North Cape May.
Born in Manhatten, NY, he was and area resident since 1998 and was formerly of Brookfield, CT. He had worked for Plainfield Transportation of Danbury, CT for over 20 years.
Survived by his wife: Irene (Palmieri) Gallignano; four children, Louis Jr. (Theresa) of Cape May, Mitchell (Marybeth) of West Haven, CT, Ciro (Christina) of East Windsor, CT and Louise Gallignano (Bill) of Cape May, NJ; two sisters, Vincenza Castelle and Natalie Pellechia (Vincent). He also leaves 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Friday from 2-4pm and Friday from 7-9 pm and Saturday from 9:30 -10:30 am at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ 08204. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 11:00 am at St. John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Road, N. Cape May. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ
