Martha Jane Stratford, age 88, of Venice, Florida died on Wednesday, December 31, 1008 at Manor Care of Venice. Born in Scranton, Pa., she resided in St. Petersburg before moving to Venice several years ago. She was a graduate of St. Petersburg Junior College. She was a retired bookkeeper with 30 years of service to Ellis, Reynolds & Bradley Law Firm of St. Pete. Miss Stratford was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her sorority sisters.Miss Stratford was predeceased by her twin sister, Janet Kloos. Surviving are her sister, Dorothy S. Evoy of N. Cape May, NJ and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private with burial in Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ.
