Edward G. Witham, age 51, of Rio Grande died on January 1, 2009 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Phila., Pa., he moved to Rio Grande in 1986. He was a 1975 graduate of Frankford High School and attended Mastbaum High Culinary School. He was employed by Kings Caterers as the chef for the head coaches of the Eagles football team. He was also a baker for Victory Bakery in Burleigh, NJ. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #184. Surviving are his mother, Diana, his grandfather, Gerald Hermley and a brother, David Witham, all of Rio Grande. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward H. and grandmother Rose Hermley.
