Jan P. Galubinski, age 95, of North Cape May died on Sunday, Nov. 30th at North Cape Center. Born in Hanover, Germany, he formerly lived in Northbrook, Ill. before moving here in 1975. Mr. Galubinski was a prisoner of war during WW II, surviving several German death camps in Poland. He was a member of the Polish Resistance and came to the United States after the war. He was a mechanical technician for Crane Packing Engineering Co. of Chicago, Ill and retired from A.A.F.E.S. He was a member of St. John of God Church, a 3rd degree member of Stella Maris K of C Council #3546 of Erma and a 4th degree member of Msgr. Moroney Assembly of Wildwood. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elnora. Surviving are three granddaughters, Dawn Groshong, Denise Gordon and Debra Karp, all of Michigan. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 16th, 11:00 AM at St. John of God Church, Town Bank Rd., N. Cape May, where friends may call from 10:30 AM. Burial will follow immediately after Mass in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ.
