Obituary of George Joseph Brennan

OBITUARY George J. Brennan Sr., age 72, of Green Creek passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Cape Reg. Medical Center. He was born in Philadelphia and resided in the Cape May area for over 50 years. George worked as a stock manager for the Two Mile Inn, Lower Twp. for over 20 years and also retired from being a truck operator. He was a member of the Erma Fire Co. for over 12 1/2 years. George was a life member of the Cape May County Fire Police where he held the rank of Captain. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Bertha Allen Brennan; six children, George Jr. (Brenda), Lynn Brennan, Michael (Amy), Carl (Vickie), Michelle (Brian) Driscoll, Jeff (Donna); a brother James Patrick (Edie) Brennan of Blackwood, NJ. He also leaves 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Francis Leo Brennan, Jr. and a sister Catherine Brennan Silva. There will be a viewing on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 11am to 12 noon at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May.
