Joan C. O'Connor Obituary

Joan C. O'Connor, 77, of Villas, NJ died on Tuesday at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Worcester, Mass., she was a Villas resident since 1976. She was a former Trailways employee and customer representative for Comcast of Wildwood. She was a representative of Mass. Girls State and Girls Nation during the Truman administration. Former organist for St. Mary's Church in Grafton, Mass. and member of Sunset Beach Sportsman's Club of Cape May Point. She was predeceased by her husband, Timothy, Sr. Surviving are four children, Constance Leslie Angeline (John Seel) of Atlantic City, Paul Timothy, Jr. (Donna), Alison Jean (Anthony) and Patrick Sean; her beloved dog, Cracker; four grandchildren, Marisa, Brittany, Mark and Miles; a niece, Cathy Dickerson and a nephew, Edward Dorris. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 7 - 9 PM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 9:30 AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Washington St., Cape May, NJ, where friends may call after 8:30 AM. Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
