Obituary of Irene M. Conrey

Irene M. Conrey, 89 of Wildwood Crest, died Monday, November 17, 2008 in the Court House Convalescent Center. Irene emigrated from Finland in 1921. She resided with her family (Lindholm's) of 8 brothers and 3 sisters in Rio Grande. She lived most of her life in Cape May Co.,lastly living with her granddaughter and her husband in Wildwood Crest before going to the nursing home. Irene had attended Middle Twp. High School and had been employed by Crest Haven Nursing Home as a seamstress. Irene was preceded in death by her husband Morris; her beloved son Daniel; granddaughter Adrienne Nicole Conrey and brothers Everett and Carl. She is survived by sons Michael and James and a daughter Kathy Korn and her husband Daniel; a granddaughter Tina Hawthorne and her husband Michael, 4 grandsons , 5 granddaughters and 18 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her surviving siblings, Margaret, Elmer, Elsie, Ralph, Ruth, Robert, George, Raymond and Kenneth. Funeral services will be held 8pm Thursday November 20th at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 pm. Interment will be private.
