Obituary of Francis J Kennedy

OBITUARY Francis J "Frank" Kennedy, 80, of Erwin, TN passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Life Care Center of Elizabethton, TN following an extended illness. Frank was born on 4/27/1932 in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late John and Marie Kennedy. He served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War, and was a commercial fisherman by trade. Frank was preceded in death by his wife Florence in 2002. He is survived by his: daughter Kathleen K Van Fossen of Unicoi, TN; son & daughter-in-law Francis J & Amy Kennedy of Poquoson, VA; son & daughter-in-law Shawn & Anmarie Kennedy of Springfield, PA; and daughter & son-in-law Camille & Don Gipple of Danville, PA. Also surviving are his niece Ceres Bainbridge of St Michaels, MD; granddaughter Lisa Kennedy of Alexandria, VA; granddaughter Jennifer Fox of Tampa, FL; granddaughter Laura Gipple of Villas, NJ; grandson Donald Gipple of Villas, NJ; six great grandchildren; and his best friend James Morrow of Cape May, NJ. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff of Life Care Center of Elizabethton for their love and care. There will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
