Mary T. Hammond, age 73, of Wildwood died on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Phila., Pa. she was a Wildwood resident since 1969. She was a Day One employee of Harrahs Casino, where she worked until her retirement. She was a member of the social club of the Lions Center. She loved the warm waters of Marathon Florida and being remembered as the X-rated grandmother for the darling little ditties she taught her grandchildren. She was always quick with a comeback from her grandchildrens prank calls. She was preceded in death by her companion of 20 years, Sam Seiverd and a grandson, Neil McClure. Surviving are her children, Guy Hammond (Dianna) of Wells, N.Y., Terri McClure of Green Creek, NJ, Dawn Hedge (Frank Naimoli) of Erma, NJ and Daniel Hammond of Wildwood, NJ; 14 grandchildren, Jinnelle (Glen), Star (Vaughn), Crystal, Audrey, Ashley (Bobby), Little Guy (Jessica), Kyle, Craig, Lacey, Billy, Aiyana, Samantha, Jasmine and Jade; 3 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jaiden and Cecilia; and a brother, William (Dale) Shadis of New Freedom, Pa.
