Obituary of Grace C. Smeltzer

Grace C. Smeltzer, age 83, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 26, 2008. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she resided in Rahway, NJ before moving here 25 years ago. She was a retired statistical clerk for Schering-Plough Pharmaceutical Co. of Kenilworth, NJ. She was a member of Cold Spring Presbyterian Church, former treasurer of the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church Mary Circle and a member of the church choir. She was a former treasurer of the Bayshore Woods Condo Assoc. and former member of the Womens Community Club of Cape May. She was predeceased by her parents, Ella Blanche Smith and William Richard Coulson and her husband, George A. Smeltzer and survived by two sons, Robert J., Sr. and his wife Suzanne (Gaffaney) of Cold Spring and William G. and Bernadette (Alfonso) of Christiansburg, Va.; three grandchildren, Robert J., Jr. of Hermosa Beach, CA., William J. of St. Augustine, FL. and Timothy J. of Cold Spring. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 11:00 AM at Cold Spring Presbyterian Church, 780 Seashore Road, Cold Spring, NJ, where friends may call after 10:00 AM.
