Anthony M. Notturno, 84, of Villas died on Monday at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he was a resident here for 35 years. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was a retired Merchant Seaman. He was a founding member of the Parkway Mem. Post #7650 V.F.W. of Philadelphia and the Seafarers Union of New York. Mr. Notturno often wrote editorials in local papers. He was predeceased by his parents, Giacinto and Nunziata Notturno, brothers Joseph and John F. and a niece, Theresa Rubeo (Raymond). Surviving are his nieces Margaret (Charles) Fox;, Doreen Deola (the late Mark) and Nancy; nephew Joseph, loving companion Elaine Ottaviano and many great-nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM on Saturday at St. Raymond's Church, Ocean Ave, & Bayshore Rd., Villas, NJ, where friends may call from 10 AM. Burial will be in Cape May Co. Veterans Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be sent to St. Raymond's Church.
