Arthur J. Hughes, 70 of Cape May died Thursday. July 3, 2008.
Beloved husband of 36 years to Mary P. Hughes. Devoted father to Arthur Hughes Jr., and Theresa Hughes Stepfather to Deborah Kessler, Eileen Yatsko, Lisa Colagreco, Joseph Eshelman. He also leaves his mother Caroline Weber; brother Phillip Vanstone, 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Arthur was a starter at the Avalon Country Club in Swainton. Arthur enjoyed fishing and hunting as his hobbies. He was a retired Philadelphia Police Officer of the K-9 and Transit units.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May, NJ. Friends may call Thursday after 10 am
