Anna May Pugh, age 86, of North Cape May died on Sunday at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Phila., Pa., she formerly lived in Somerdale, NJ before moving here 28 years ago. She was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed cooking. She was married for 49 years to Robert J. who died in 1992. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Surviving are her daughters, Catherine (William) Deaver of Cape May Court House, Robyn (Lenny) Calvert of N. Cape May and Mary (Jeff) Whelan of Maple Shade, NJ; seven grandchildren, Patrick, Jennifer, Christopher, Matthew, Andrew, Sharon and Megan and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Robert Joseph and Robert Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 11 AM at St. John of God Church, Town Bank Rd., N. Cape May, NJ, where friends may call from 10 AM. Burial will be in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery. Evoy Funeral Home.
