Obituary of William J. Martinson

Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
William Joseph Martinson, Sr. of Del Haven, NJ. Born April 15, 1939. Died June 26, 2008. Age 69. Born in Brookly, NY, where he married the love of his life at age 17, Angeline Martinson. Their 51 years of marriage led them to New Jersey where he was a master plumber for 35 years and they raised three beautiful children. Though he lost his son, William Joseph Martinson, Jr. in 2003 to A.L.S., he and his family fought on together. He is survived by his two daughters, Joann McAllister and Dawn Cirillo, along with nine grandchildren: William III, Kimberly, Angela, Theresa, Tenielle, Jimmy, Jonathan, Gina, Destiny and his great-grandson, C.J. We all miss his smiles, but never forget his warmth. Of his 11 brothers and sisters, he has two that remain dear to his heart, his sister June Kubat and husband Bill and his brother, Charles Khall. Also survived by Jimmy Duffy and wife Phyllis, who was always like a brother and to his niece, goddaughter Patti Mahoney, who has always been there. Though the tears may pass, but the memories of you will always be in our hearts forever. You have given us all the strength to be ourselves and live our dreams. It was time for you to cast your line and Go Fishing.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 11 AM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, NJ, where friends may call from 9 AM. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ.
