Obituary of Carol Jean Lane

OBITUARY Carol J Lane (nee Mowen) of Avalon joined our Lord on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born 11/24/1943 on Thanksgiving Day in Chambersburg, PA to Anna & Paul Shank. Carol is survived by her husband of 47 years Robert (Bob) Lane and her two children: Penny Fillman and Robert L S Lane. She has four grandchildren: Nicole Fillman, Michael Fillman, Robert E Lane, & Jessica Lane; whom she held close to her heart. Her life was devoted to her husband, home, children, and grandchildren. Carol remained close friends with her childhood "best friend" Barbara Favieri whom she had visit her home until the very end. God only releases a few angels, and I as her husband, was lucky enough to have had one. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 19, 2012 at St Brendan the Navigator Parish, Maris Stella RC Church, 4910 Dune Dr, Avalon, NJ 08202. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Carol's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
