Obituary of Janet A Coover

OBITUARY Janet A Coover, 93, of Erma passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Court House Convalescent Center. Born in New Rochelle, NY; she has been a Cape May area resident for over 60 years. She was a leader of the 4-H Club Sewing Group and a long time member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church where she volunteered her time in the nursery. Janet loved her family and especially her grandchildren who affectionately called her "Grandmom Cookie". She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years James W Coover in 2010. Janet is survived by her son James (Teresa) Coover of Erma and her daughter Linda (Frank) Hidy of Virginia. Also surviving are her six grandchildren: Jennifer Kezlaw, Lee Ann Dickinson, Michael Coover, Douglas Coover Michelle Scherberger, & Michael Crabtree; along with seven great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 702 Seashore Rd, Erma, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 11:00 to 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. The family suggests donations in Janet's memory to Tabernacle United Methodist Church.
