Eileen P. Landis, 83 of Cape May Court House, formerly of Erma, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Court House Conv. Center, Cape May Court House She was born in Wildwood, NJ. and had been a Cafeteria Worker, employed by Cape May Elementary School, Cape May retiring in 1987after19 years. Eileen was a member of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Erma where she was a member of the United Methodist Womens Group and also sang in the church choir. Eileen also sang in the Victorian Chorus and Angelis Choir both in Cape May. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband Carl (1991). She is survived by two children; Deborah Van Mourik (Don)of Cold Spring and Donald Landis (Norma) of Erma; a sister Sylvia Krahn (Robert) of Illinois; three grandchildren, Beth Benfer Joshua Landis and Zachary Van Mourik; a great-grandson, Aaron Benfer A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008, 11:00 am at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 702 Seashore Road, Erma . Friends may call after 10 am at the church. Interment will be in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tabernacle Meth.
