Albert J. Davis, 79 of, N. Cape May, died suddenly on Monday, March 31, 2008 in the Cape Regional Med. Center, Cape May Court House. Born in Luzerne, PA, he was an area resident for over 50 years having resided previously in Green Creek. Albert was a retired Plumber having worked for Bradshaw Plumbing in North Wildwood. He had been active in the Boy Scouts Troop 87 of Erma and had served as Assistant Scout Master. He was a member of the DAV in Del Haven. Albert served his country in the US Army during WWII and the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Albert was predeceased by his wife Jeanne. He is survived by a brother Martin Davis of PA ; nieces and nephews; William Coover of Camden, John Coover of the Villas, Kathline King of N. Franklin, CN, James W.M. Coover of Erma and Linda Hidy of Virginia Beach, VA; a brothr-in-law James W. Coover of Erma and a sister-in-law Helen Coover of the Villas. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008, 11:00 am at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May. Friends may call after 10 am . Burial will be in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court. House. In lieu of flowers contributions to the DAV, Bayshore and Sun Ray Roads, Del Haven, NJ 08251 would be appreciated.
