Amelia M. Clarkson, age 81, of North Wildwood passed away on March 3, 2008 at Eastern Shore Nursing Home,

Mrs. Amelia Clarkson was born in Atlantic City and raised in Pleasantville, NJ. She accompanied her husband, Walter to Pennsylvania, where he attended Drexel University gained employment at RCA in Harrisburg and lived in Camp Hill, where their children were raised. Mrs. Clarkson retired from employment in Pennsylvania as a liaison between the Philadelphia Shipyard and Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg. Upon retirement, she moved to North Wildwood, NJ.

Amelia was preceded in death by her husband Walter J. Clarkson. She is survived by a son, Timothy Clarkson of Lancaster, PA; two daughters, Joanne Beaver of Harrisburg, PA and Christine Day of Camp Hill, PA. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2008, 11:00 am at St. Peter Church, 25 W. Blackhorse Pike, Pleasantville, NJ. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing, NJ. Arrangements have been made by Evoy Funeral Home.
