Obituary of Elizabeth H. Hallman

Elizabeth H. Hallman, age 82 of N. Cape May passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at North Cape Center. She was formerly of Philadelphia, PA and resided in this area the past 57 years. She is retired from New Jersey Bell of Marmora as a repair service manager. She began her career as a switchboard operator in Wildwood. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a parishioner at St. John of God Church in N. Cape May. Elizabeth was preceded death by her parents, David and Elizabeth (Murphy) McGinley; a brother, Daniel and a sister, Eveline. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth (Ralph) Dills of N. Cape May. Two grandsons, David (Sally) Dills and Jason Dills; sisters Jean (Bob) Sinclair of N.C., Kathryn (Ed) Seaver of Glenolden,PA and Joan Griener of Glenolden, PA. She also leaves her dear friend Nancy McPherson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 8, 2008, 11:00 am at St. John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Road, N. Cape May, NJ.
