Rhoda K. Cavanaugh, 77, of North Cape May, died on Friday at her home. Born in Chestnut Hill, PA, she resided in Swarthmore, PA for more than 30 years before moving to this area in 1987. She was a 1948 graduate of Germantown High School and a graduate of Pierce Junior College in Philadelphia. She was employed by Boeing Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1987. she than became office manager for Dr. Randall Nuschke in Cape May Court House. She was a member of Calvary Chapel in Cape May, Villas Fishing Club and the Red Hat Society of Cape May and enjoyed going to the beach and lived life with a positive attitude. Surviving are her husband of 54 1/2 years, John L; atwo daughters, JoAnn (Michael) Martinelli of Lancaster, PA and Arlene (Bart) Tarver of Arlington, TX; a son, John A. (Lori) Cavanaugh of Downingtown, PA; a sister, Claudette (Bud) Light of Myrtle of Myrtle Beach, SC and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May, NJ, where friends may call from 10:00 a.m.. Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
