Brittany A. DeWysockie, 21 of Erma, NJ, formerly of Carteret, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008.

She was born in Edison, NJ, and had worked as a certified nursing assistant for Oceana Nursing Home in Cape May Court House, NJ

Brittany is predeceased by her mother Laura Canazaro. She is survived by her fiance Thomas Liston and her son Thomas Liston Jr. (TJ) age 18 months; her fiances parents Sue and Jim Liston of Cape May Court House; her fiances siblings, Amy and Christopher Liston; her father, Michael Butth of Jackson, NJ; maternal grandparents, Robert and Nancy Kurzweil of Erma; paternal grandmother, Lucy Butth of Perth Amboy; four aunts, Maxine Zawartkay, Bridgette DeWysockie, Sandra Reilly and Paula Swartz; an uncle Scott Kurzweil. She also leaves many extended family members and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday Feb. 1, 2008 from 6 to 9 PM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May, NJ. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the DARE Program, Sandman Elem. School, 838 Seashore Road, Cape May, NJ 08204 Attention of Darrin Hickok.
