Giovanni Fontanot, age 77, of North Cape May, NJ passed away on Tuesday, January 15th. He was born in Capodistria, Istria. He was a long time resident of Overbrook Park, PA as well as North Cape May for the past 20 years. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Nerina (DelBen), two sons, Giancarlo Fontanot of Sacramento, CA and Mario (Chris) Fontanot of Broomall, PA; daughter, Marina Richter of Wynnewood, PA as well as his son in law, Sam Richter; three grandchildren, Haley, Evan and Billy; his brother, Gildo Fontanot of Newtown Square, PA; and his two sisters, Maria Pia of Trieste, Italy and Pina Fontanot of Overbrook, PA. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, 1:00 PM at St. Marys Cemetery, Seashore Rd., Cold Spring NJ (1/4 mile south of West Cape May Bridge).
