Edwin T. Cromley Sr., 80 of N. Cape May Beach, NJ, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home, Vineland, NJ
Ed was born in Sicklerville, NJ and resided in Levittown for many years before retiring to N. Cape May Beach in 1984. He served in the US Navy on the USS Ticonderoga during WW II. Ed had worked as a car salesman, manager and auto wholesaler. He had worked for Reedman Auto World, McCafferty, Rice and Holman and Weed Chevrolet. Ed enjoyed playing golf and was known for his humorous personality.
Ed was preceded in death by his brother George. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Gloria, five children; Jack Cromley Sr. (Brenda) of Thompson Station, TN, Cindy Hoskins and Lisa Clingan (Jim) both of Tampa, FL, Denise Burns (Rick) of Levittown, PA and Edwin T. Cromley Jr. of N. Cape May Beach, NJ; a brother John Cromley of Williamstown, NJ. He also leaves 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2008, 12:00 Noon at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May, NJ. Friends may call Saturday from 11-12 Noon.
Interment will be in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Ct. House. NJ
