Jeanne D Walters, age 94, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Monday, May 4, 2015 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Jeanne was born July 21, 1920 in Philadelphia, PA. She is the daughter of the late Louis and the late Myra Dorsey. Jeanne formerly lived in New York City, NY; Goshen, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1998. Her life-long love of birding brought her to live in the Cape May area. Jeanne studied Horticulture at Ambler. She was employed by Columbia University, NYC for 25 years in the Biological Sciences Dept. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband John M Walters and her daughter Ann Geier. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Walters of London, England. Jeanne also leaves one granddaughter Heather Geier of New York City, NY and her good friend Diane Walker of Erma, NJ.
