Dolores C Smargiassi, age 86, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Victorian Manor Nursing Home of North Cape May, NJ. Dolores was born December 29, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA. She is the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Mildred (Rodano) DiVirgilio. Dolores was employed by Dr. LoPresti, Haddon Hts, NJ as a Medical Assistant. She is survived by her husband of 67 years: Paul Smargiassi, one daughter: Karen (Douglas) Murray, and one son: Paul (Nancy) A Smargiassi, Jr. Also surviving are four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Josephine DiVirgilio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Dolores' memory to St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
