Obituary of Phillip S Yaros

Phillip S Yaros, age 73, of CMCH passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at AtlantiCare Medical Center-Mainland Div. of Galloway Twp, NJ. Phillip was born October 22, 1941 in Chester, PA, formerly lived in Claymont, DE, and has been a Cape May area resident since 1984. He is the son of the late John and the late Elma (Ristola) Yaros. Phillip was a Able Seaman in the Merchant Marine and was a member of the Red, White, & Blue Freedom Riders Motorcycle Club of Villas. He lived a very eventful and fulfilling life. Phillip was a strong and determined individual. Some of his greatest memories were his motorcycle trips cross country and to Key West with his best friend Joe. His love for his dog Apache was great, but not as much as his love for Diana over the past 10 years. Family was so important to him. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great grandson. Phillip was loved by so many friends and family, and for that he was truly blessed. He is survived by his loving companion of 10 years Diana Gross; his son Walter Yaros of Del Haven; his daughters: Terry (Ed) Runyon of CMCH, Tracy (Jerry) Krieg of CMCH, & Marsha Yaros of CMCH; his brother Jack Yaros; and sisters: Irene Yaros, Barbara Alfred, & Linda Strawbridge. Also surviving are his 8 grandchildren: Eddie, Tommy, Steven, Logan, Carly, Jeremy, Gianina, & Gator (Walter, Jr.); and his great grandson Ayden. He will be missed by all, but forever in our hearts.
