Obituary of James R Perri

James R. Perri, age 89, of Villas passed away peacefully Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Cape Regional Medical Center. James was born in Philadelphia, PA; was formerly from Somerdale, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1980. He is the son of the late Dominic and the late Antonetta (nee Guiliana) Perri. James served his country in the US Army during World War II. He was a truck driver for Cross Brothers Meat Packing Co. in Philadelphia. James was a member of the Teamsters Union #107 of Philadelphia. He loved fishing, boating, and gardening. James was a member of the Parish of St John Neumann and attended St Raymond's RC Church. He was preceded in death by his two sisters: Louise Seppy and Grace Perri. James is survived by his wife of 63 years Margaret (nee Myers) Perri of Villas; and one daughter: Margaret (Michael D) Rocco of Turnersville, NJ. Also surviving are: his brother Louis Perri of Atlantic City, NJ and 2 grandchildren: Michael J.& James D. (Brooke). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St Raymond's RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
