Obituary of Kenneth Alfred Dorsett

Kenneth Dorsett, Sr., age 68, of Villas passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Kenneth was born July 20, 1946 in Gloucester, NJ; was formerly from Pennsauken, NJ and has been a Cape May area resident since 1979. He is the son of the late Quentin R and the late Elsie (Britton) Dorsett. He was employed by Pathmark Corp., Vineland, NJ as a Meat Cutter. Kenneth was a former member of the Gloucester City Chess Club. He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Doris (Keller) Dorsett, one daughter: Denise (Jeff) Shannon of Maple Shade, NJ and two sons: Kenneth (Diane) A Dorsett, Jr. of Galloway, NJ, Erik (Sara) Dorsett of Mt Laurel, NJ. Also surviving is his twin brother James (Eileen) Dorsett of West Deptford, NJ; his brother Robert Dorsett of VA; his sister Marilyn Cox of OK; and five grandchildren: Mackenzie Dorsett, Tyler Dorsett, Brendan Shannon, Evan Shannon, & Erika Dorsett. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
