James G Seibert, age 76, of South Dennis, a local artist, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012. He was born in 1936 in Sparta, Wisconsin. Jim is predeceased by his father Retired U S Coast Guard Lt. Commander Michael J Seibert; his mother Martha (nee Godfrey) Seibert; and his brother Michael Seibert. He is survived by his wife Joan (nee Huber) Seibert; his three sisters: Audrey (John) Schwatka, Beverly Gustafson, & Terri (Bruce) Allen; several nieces & nephews; and numerous good friends. Jim co-chaired Cape May County Ducks Unlimited for 25 years, co-chaired the Wetlands Institute's Wings n Water Festival for 25 years, taught NJ Hunters Education for 25 years, and sat on the Dennis Township Zoning Board for 15 years. His bird carvings and paintings are in private collections across the entire county. In accordance with Jim's wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral services planned. The family suggests donations in Jim's memory to Cape Assist, 3819 New Jersey Ave, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
