Dolores A Roehrenbeck, age 73, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Victoria Manor. Dolores was born November 11, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA; was formerly from Manhattan, NY; but has been a Cape May area resident for over 30 years. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers NY. Dolores and her late husband owned and operated Bob's Art & Framing in West Cape May for 19 years; and she was a licensed Realtor in New Jersey. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cape May, also attended Calvary Chapel. Dolores volunteered at Family Promise, Cape May Stage, East Linn Theater, and was a member of the Noyes Museum of Art, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Dolores was also an avid bicycle rider and bird watcher. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob "The Artist" Roehrenbeck on 10/31/2006, her parents Joseph & Catherine, and two brothers: Joseph & Robert. She is survived by two daughters: Donna (Russell) Jata; Christine (Rick) Yarosh; stepson Reece (Mary) Roehrenbeck; one sister: Denise (Daniel) Pauling; and four granddaughters: Sarah, Megan, Katie, & Frankie.
