Joan F Raffaele, age 79, formerly of North Wildwood passed away peacefully Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the home of her daughter Teresa. Joan was born October 17, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA and has been a Cape May area resident since 1968. She is the daughter of the late Earl and the late Frances (Donnelly) Torrence. Joan was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters: Teresa Linney &, Angelica (Daniel) Perry; three sons: Joseph R (Joann) Raffaele Jr; John (Cindi) Raffaele; & Gary (Cindy) Raffaele; and her daughter-in-law Karen Raffaele. Also surviving are: her sister Dolores Drakley, her brother Earl Torrence, her sister Sally Torrence Thomas, 17 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Joan's memory to the Leukemia Society of America, 219 N Black Horse Pike, Mt Ephriam, NJ 08059.
