Amanda Harris Stamas, age 93, and her husband James George Stamas, age 94, of Wildwood Crest. James died wednesday, February 1, 2015 and Amanda died on February 11, 2015. James was born in Astabulah, OH and Amanda was born in Pittsburgh, PA. James served his country in the US Marine Corps during WWII. James was an entrepreneur in the restaurant business and Amanda was a teacher at Towson-Stratford Business College, Towson, MD. They are survived by two children: Vicky Janis Stamas of Chevy Chase, MD and George (Sharon Pelz) of Towson, MD along with one grandchild: Jimmy. Amanda also leaves a brother Stephen Harris. Memorial Services to be held at Hunts United Methodist Church, Toson, MD: which will be announced at a later date along with more biographical details.
