Obituary of Joseph Kevin Hart

Joseph Kevin Hart, age 24, of Wildwood Crest passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA after a long hard battle. Joe was born June 23, 1990 in Philadelphia, PA., but has been a life-long Wildwood area resident. He is the son of Joe Hart and Aimee (Komada) Donahue. Joe was a member of the Notre Dame de la Mer Parish, St Anne's RC Church in Wildwood. He was a member of Ancient Order of Hiberians and the Police Explorers of Wildwood. Joe was employed by Lower Township Public Works Dept. and the Race Zone on the Wildwood Boardwalk. He loved fishing, hanging out at the beach, spending time with his family & friends. Joe was always willing to help out no matter what and always had a big smile on his face. He is survived by his mother & father, his brothers: Cody Hart & Rob Donahue, his sisters: Maggie Donahue & Amanda Donahue, and his girlfriend Melissa Coombs. Also surviving are: his maternal grandfather Ed Komada, his paternal grandmother Gail Bannmiller, his Step Dad Bob Donahue, and will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends: Joe Kolodi, Justin Cox, TJ Repholtz, and Ed Pelaez. He was preceded in death by his brother Eddie Donahue, his maternal grandmother Peggy Komada, and his paternal grandfather Joe Hart, Sr. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 19, 2015 at St Anne's RC Church, 2900 Atlantic Ave, Wildwood, NJ 08260; where friends will be received from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St Mary's Cemetery 1056 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 09204. The family suggests donations in Joseph's memory to Gift of Life, 401 N 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123-4101.
