Donald Ernest Heathcote, Sr. age 77, of Erma, NJ & Port Charlotte, FL passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 in Port Charlotte, FL. Donald was born in Wildwood and has been a life-long Cape May area resident. He was the owner/operator of Rio Grande Esso, Dennisville Fence Company, and Heathcote Fence Company of Clermont. Donald was a member of the Rio Grande Fire Co., was past president of the Rio Grande Lions Club, and was in the Naval Reserve stationed at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He was preceded in death by his son Donald E Heathcote, Jr. Donald is survived by his wife Mary Ann Heathcote; and his daughters: Tracy Ann Klinger of Wayne, PA; Diane Roque of Erma, NJ; and Brenda Heathcote-Storey of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
