Debra A (Pannelli) Mitchell, age 58, of Cape May Court House passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at Cooper Medical Center of Camden, NJ. She was born in Fort Monmouth, NJ; but has been a life-long Cape May area resident. Debra is the daughter of Barbara Burnight (who survives) and the late William Nelson. She was a devoted and caring mother, grandmother, and the best mother-in-law. Debra was a member of the DAV Auxiliary of Del Haven. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Pannelli, Sr. in 2005; her son Jonathan Christopher Pannelli; her fathers William Nelson and Strawberry Burnight; and sister Susan Nelson. Debra is survived by her husband Mikel Mitchell; son Michael (Diane) Pannelli; son Robert Jr. (Kimberly Jenkins & daughter Natalie Jenkins); and grandson Christopher Michael "Mikey" Pannelli, Jr. Also surviving are her brothers: Paul (Dee) Nelson, Sr., Bill (Stephanie) Nelson Sr., & Bud Burnight; her sisters: Christina Jordan & Lynda Lee (Fred) Clark; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
