OBITUARY
Bertha Pleier "Toots", 99, of Villas passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the home of her granddaughter in Mt Laurel, NJ. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of that city, she has been a Cape May area resident for over 45 years. Bertha was a member of the Villas Fishing Club Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband William C Pleier in 1981, her daughter Janet Phyllis Pleier Haar, and her grandson William Haar. Bertha is survived by her son-in-law Andrew John Haar; her grandchildren: Jean (Al) Rose, Joyce (Everett) Maddox, Susan (Donald) Tiver, John (Naureen) Haar, Robert (Donna) Haar, Patricia (William) Loveland, & Andrew (Deborah) Haar, Jr. Also surviving are 12 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
