Eleanor C Smith, age 88, of Villas passed away peacefully Sunday, December 7, 2014 at North Cape Center. Eleanor was born in Philadelphia, was formerly from South Philadelphia, and has been a Cape May area resident since 1945. She was the owner/operator of Smitty's Parking Lot in Wildwood along with her husband George. Eleanor also worked at Shoprite in Rio Grande. She was a member of the Villas Fishing Club; enjoyed gardening; and especially enjoyed fishing and boating on her boat the "Miss Ellie". Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband George Smith, Jr. and her grandson Daniel Smith. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Don) Nelson; her son John (Peg) Smith; and her son George (Diane) Smith. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
